Burlington CRC History

On June 9, 1953, the Burlington Christian Reformed Church was organized with 36 families from the Hamilton CRC. By September 1956, there were 65 families using a small church on Guelph Line, bought for $900. The church was dedicated in December 1953.

On December 19, 1959, the church building on New Street was ready for use. The parsonage was built by January 1960. The church property was bought for $12,000.00

The proposed budget for 1954 was $6500.

Worship services were held at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Also, special services on Christian feast days.

In 1969, Waterdown Bethel CRC was organized and in 1984, Faith CRC in Burlington was organized.
