Place of Worship:
Hamilton District High School
92 Glancaster Road, Ancaster

Ancaster Fellowship began when the councils of Immanuel and Ancaster CRC required a solution to their growing numbers. In January 1989, Classis Hamilton was approached for permission to organize a new church. The new church began to worship in the Calvin Christian School gym, but the church required a name. Several names were written on paper and posted on the wall for members to sign under the name they thought best for the church; one member started her own sheet with the name Fellowship. Fellowship then moved to the Hamilton District Christian High cafeteria. Pastor Peter Hoytema served the congregation from 1990 - 1998, Rev. De Jonge served from 1999 - 2000 and Pastor John Bouwers from 2000 - present. In August 2002, Ancaster Fellowship purchased land on Kitty Murray Lane with the intention to build a church in the Meadowlands Community.

Why we are here?

Mission Statement: Our purpose is to build community to worship our Triune God; for mutual care, challenge and encouragement; to equip God's people for works of service and to share our reformed faith in word and deed.

Where do we want to go?
